Filmmaker and Family Man
Fairai Richmond is an award-winning Hawaiian/Tahitian filmmaker. He has directed and produced two feature films; “Decade of the Dead”, which premiered at the Hawai'i International Film Festival 2023, and his latest film “Kangaroo Kids”, which premiers on Christmas Day 2023 on the new streaming platform Sunn Stream. He also co-wrote that film. It is the streamer’s first feature film. He has directed over 100 commercials, music videos, short films and documentaries. He has created campaigns for Hoʻōla Nā Pua, U.S. Vets Hawaii, The Hawaii Association of the Blind and L&L BBQ. He currently lives in Mānoa, HI with his wife and two children.
